The Arkenis Group has always been actively involved within the local and business community in the dual process of both fundraising and raising the awareness of various charities within the Surrey area.
We have always been particularly supportive and amazed at the astonishing and energetic work that has been carried out by 'Help for Heroes' in their ambitious fundraising efforts for the building of a new Gymnasium and Swimming Pool Complex at Headley Court, the Defence Medical Rehabilitation flagship centre in Surrey.
Headley Court and Arkenis are near neighbours in Surrey and following an invitation to visit the medical complex, the Directors of Arkenis were overwhelmed by the high standard of medical excellence and the specialist treatment of wounded servicemen and women being carried out there. It was following this visit to Headley Court that a decision was made to promote the extraordinary efforts being made by 'Help for Heroes' in their fundraising operation.
To date 'Help for Heroes' has raised a magnificent amount in the region of £5million towards the building of the Gymnasium and Swimming Pool Complex at Headley Court.
